Enjoy Our Food Experience
Chinatown’s Baxter Street is lined with Vietnamese restaurants. How do you choose one? Let us do it for you. If you want pho, head to Nha Trang One. Theirs is our favorite on the block. The beef is always good, but we’re particular fans of their chicken-based pho ga. If you’re ever on jury duty and want to take yourself to a thoroughly satisfying lunch for less than $10, this is where you do it.

If you’re celebrating a birthday, COME HERE.
While eating dinner here on 2/19/2022, an 18 year old was having a birthday dinner here and the owners plated up a dessert that they brought and then started a birthday song on their sound system. I’ve never actually seen an entire restaurant voluntarily join in to celebrating a stranger’s birthday. It was really fun.
I had the L1 pho and my husband had the L12 pork chop and it was a nice meal in Manhattan Chinatown.

An absolute authentic GEM for Vietnamese food! I’m half Vietnamese and if I had to choose one dish/meal for the rest of my life it would be Phở Đặc Biệt! I would bathe in their phở broth if it weren’t for societal mores. Slices of tender brisket, omasum tripe and melt on your tongue glistening tendon. If you’re a fan of the rare beef it’s best to ask for it on the side where they’ll diver the super thin raw slices laid out individually on a plate. This ensures a perfect super tender cook.
Nha Trang is located on the south central coast of Vietnam so don’t expect the northern Hànội phở.
Another favorite of mine that be bussin is Bò Kho, the traditional beef stew with beautiful substantial chunks of tender stew beef and carrots with the lingering essence of a phở broth. Bò Kho is typically comes with a nice crispy baguette 🥖 (that isn’t hard enough to cut you hard palette!) with a fresh warm fluffy center (think bánh mì if you were to order one from Bánh Mì Saigon at 198 Grand St!!). However, I prefer mine with phở noodles so I order Phở Bò Kho, which isn’t on the menu.

This restaurant serves Vietnamese food. Both the pho and spring rolls were great. Surprisingly, the prices are quite affordable and the service time is amazingly swift. I think our pho arrived in under 5 minutes. Be aware that the host checked our vaccination cards before we were seated.
